Birth & Fetal Death Registration for Hospitals - Minnesota Dept. of Health

Birth and Fetal Death Registration for Hospital Staff

Birth registrars and other health professionals play an important role in collecting data about births and in making sure all births are registered. In Minnesota, the State Registrar manages the statewide vital records program and Minnesota Registration & Certification (MR&C) System. Authorized users of MR&C register the births, fetal deaths, and deaths that occur in Minnesota. Other users of MR&C print certified copies of birth and death certificates for eligible requesters.
